I actually managed a Mother's Sabbath on Saturday and spent the day with a friend. We attended one of the very popular and free concerts hosted at Lancaster Priory and saw 'Opposite Saxes' a quartet of three women and one man. The music was really uplifting and the group were excellent, especially when it came to their version of 'Bohemian Rhapsody!' There was an opportunity to chat with the group afterwards and I also enjoyed taking some photos of the Priory:
The East Meets West Tapestries have been made by the international group of women by that same name; they are not only a fusion of cultures but of faith too.
When we arrived at Bea's her lovely hubby David had made mushroom soup followed by Baked potatoes, salad, cheese and a bacon and tomato sauce. Utterly yummy :-)

Hello San, what a lovely Saturday! The concert sounds wonderful and the Priory is beautiful . . and dinner looks delicious. But the most amazing must be those tapestries!
Yes they are beautiful, all that work but most importantly the love and friendship shared in this sacred place ❤️
