This Week

We celebrated All Hallows' Eve as per last year, with the kids dressed up as Saints:

 Our very own St Lucia :-)

We attended mass on All Saints' Day and for All Souls I made new picture bunting of those dear to us:

 My side of the family are on the left in pink, Aunty Maureen is in the middle and Dave's side of the family in blue are on the right.  Since I am a visual person this display is a timely reminder to pray for them and to also ask for their intercessions.

Yesterday we had a visit from Sara, Tom and Ollie.  It was the first time they had visited the new place and it was lovely to spend time with them:

 It has been a good week :-)

Halloween :: Heysham Head

Yesterday the kids went trick or treating with another family for the first time ever and came home with an insane amount of sweets and chocolate:

We don't normally eat sweets apart from jelly babies as a hypo treatment so the 5LB weight of goodies is totally crazy.  I reckon this lot will tide them over to Easter and beyond!

We travelled on a new link road from our home which will make certain journey's around our area and the wider environs a touch easier:

Blue Skies on the first day of November.

 Benedict reading and me sewing.

 "Put that camera away!"

 "Yes!  I did it!!"  Benedict managed to scale this steep embankment in three leaps, naturally it took Pip considerably longer but nevertheless she made it to the top :-)

Seaside sewing finit!  An upcycled small flap pouch bag for a friend's youngest daughter.  We could not go empty handed for the little one since Pip had made an upcycled bag for the older sister and her best buddy from school.  We spent the afternoon with them and the two older girls performed a music and dance show, totally priceless:
