DPP Day One - Advent Wreath

It's that time of year again... a challenge for me to stretch my brain where the camera is concerned and at the same time document our days leading up to the birth of Our Saviour, here are today's photographs:

My first attempt at a floral arrangement.

Close up of the greenery, red carnations and white chrysanthemums.

Free play... need to get this boy some clay!  It's the first smile he's raised in days... we've been battling with multiple daily hypo's, not good, "frown".

Cheeky Miss P playing up to the camera.

I'm off to add one of these pictures to the flickr group and then will set about finishing the tea.

I like your Advent wreath. Did you use real flowers and if you did, will they last? Great work!

Yes, I did use real flowers and as for them lasting only time will tell!! They weren't expensive so if necessary I could remove wilted one's and add new when required.
