December Photo Project - The Nativity Cross

This colourful piece of Peruvian Christian art hangs just above our dining room table.  So often truth be told it goes unnoticed, we are too familiar with its presence and story.  Today something changed and although I was initially drawn to capturing its beauty for the photo project, as I have gone about my chores today the real meaning behind that image has hounded me.  Essentially we have God made man, born to die for us as our very own sin offering, even though He was totally sinless.  In short true love personified.  Food for thought for the remainder of this Advent Season.
