Gratitude Sunday

"Gratitude isn't only a celebration when good things happen.  It's a declaration that God is good no matter what happens"

In praise of antibiotics and thankfulness for the compassionate and caring GP who attended to me on Wednesday.

Pip being a star gopher this week and not complaining about being housebound.

Being able to organise and clean the playroom/learning zone which up until Thursday had been the dumping ground.

Recycling sorted.

Sara and Tom visiting ~ a promised outing for Benedict and Pip and a much needed break for me and Dave.

Lunch date with Dave.

The kids got to see the Lego Movie!

Kids inspired to make Lego Movie style creations #productiveplay

Able to wish Eva a Happy Birthday on Friday!

Found some new websites and blogs devoted to permaculture.  Thinking more about the garden ~ zoning, sheet mulching and planting.  Hoping to inspire Benedict with the project :-)

Beautiful flowers gifted and received.

So glad to be back on track with counting those gifts ~ this week I learned a salutary lesson:

When you stop counting ~ you stop looking ~ when you stop looking {at Him} you drown!

OK God, got the message!

The happiest people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything.

 Modelling Clay Play.

 Cheese and Onion Buns.

 Pip's Happy Wall.

 Best Buddies!

 Yummy lunch time treat.

Feeling much better.

Be Blessed x

  1. Which permaculture blogs have you discovered? I would love to read more garden/permaculture blogs. Could you recommend me some please? :-)

A great list have a good week :)

  2. What an up and down week for you all! I too would love to hear more about the permaculture blogs you have found.

    A lovely list :)

  3. I am so glad you are feeling better, San. Love Pip's artwork. What is this Lego movie about? People are raving about it here. I hope your health will return completely to normal. Love to all of you.

    1. I mentioned to Benedict that you were interested to know more about the Lego Movie, so he is currently working on a review for you! So watch this space!

    2. Thanks so much, San. I am looking forward to it.

  4. Interesting. Although the week has been fraught with adversity and health challenges, just looking through your entries I find so much positivity - so much creative and loving and good. Well done!! Glad you are starting to feel better. May you be completely well. xx

    1. Lovely to have you drop by Pen :-) xx

  5. P.S. Good luck with your stomach. I know how difficult that can be. I have a friend who can't have cinnamon or onions or ginger. I can never make her a gingerbread! She tried the GAPS diet and it helped a little bit, but not completely. She's just very .. delicate I guess! And we have a good friend whose daughter was diagnosed just a year ago as celiac. She can no longer trust food outside the home since the little girl is so sensitive.

So .. that's a lovely picture of you! And I have to agree with Eva that Sara's fiancee looks very Slavic to me also :) Funny. I think we're just all connected these days . . We're slowly becoming one big global family.

The cheese and onion buns . . very yummy looking . . and the happy faces are wonderful :)

Welcome! Thank you for leaving a comment it is much appreciated x
