Jemima Puddle Duck is hiding in the house.
Naughty Mr Fox.
The lean to green house in operation.
Plant varieties grown throughout the year.
On a plant hunt courtesy of the Peter rabbit garden quiz.
Pip fascinated with all the exhibits.
A hungry owl, if you look closely you'll see it is having a mouse for dinner!
Two naughty squirrels.
Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton Tail and ...
... Peter.
After lunch we managed to find a wind proof fleece for Benedict, finally he has a warm layer to wear under his waterproof jacket. On the whole the day was enjoyable but it never ceases to amaze me the cost of entry to some of these places of interest, especially since they will also make money in the strategically placed gift shop and the cafe!

so fun! we love beatrix potter! and gift shops and cafes are a weak point with our family : P
yes, that's my email address. oh . . a surprise! we look forward to it . . thanks san!
Beatrix Potter puts me in mind of my Dad, who always tells us about his storming out of school and marching home at the ripe old age of 7, after being disgusted with the teacher for reading stories about animals that wear clothes and talk! Luckily the seriousness has worn off a bit over the years!
It looks lovely, we holidayed there when the Tallest turned two, and we had just discovered that we were expecting again. I gazed longingly at the window with the Tallest, but Hubby didn't get the hint! ( or wasn't going to lol)

What a beautiful museum/exhibition. Flora likes "Peter Rabbit" a lot. I have to read that story again, and again, and again.
