Little Miss PJ

Pip has been struggling with wanting to go to school, I don't think it is anything dire but I know she is constantly tired and has been know to declare, "I'm sick of all those school rules!!"  I did remind her that we have rules at home and lets face it there would be general anarchy if folk decided to ignore societal rules and do there own thing!  Still I can empathise with her situation and things are made a little more tricky given the fact that the rest of us in the family are at home.  With this in mind I asked her what did she want to do after school yesterday and "baking" was the resounding reply and that is what we did:

 Maths and Measuring.

Giving the mix a good old beating!

 Mini Choc Chip Muffins.

Nothing like some baking therapy to chase away the blues!

  1. I am sorry to hear that Pip is struggling with school, I hope you find some middle ground on that one, not easy :(

  2. Great baking! Poor little, Pip. Too bad you cannot just send her over to play with Flora. That would be fun! Being the youngest and in school is not easy.

  3. Hello San, what delicious looking muffins. It's a great idea to have her come home and be the center of your concern, as she may feel like just one of the crowd at school. Lately, I've been thinking that some school time would have been good for my girls, so it's nice that Pip is experiencing it. I wish that all of it could be more flexible!! Stay at home a few days, go to school for a few days . . you know? I think it's nice that you are doing both and I hope Pip can stay on the bright side of being at school, because no situation is absolutely perfect. I think there are pros and cons to everything. As long as we allow ourselves a little moping, but then come back out of it with a smile and find the positive, I think we'll be alright. Hang in there with it all!
