The Nanna Who Came To Tea ...

... and also stayed the night!

"Smile you are on breakfast Candid Camera!!"

Mum H did an epic thing last week, she drove a two hour journey on the Monday to see her sister Aunty Judith and then stopped off with us on the way home on the Thursday.  It was so lovely to see her and spend time with her, her visit was a real tonic for sure :-)

Breakfast hugs with Ben before he heads off for college.

Playing Dobble with Pip and ...

... Pudding Ping Pong :-)

Sharing a hug x

"Bye, bye Nanna come again soon!"

Those are pretty pictures! Ben has gotten so tall. Is driving hard for her?

Ben is tall! No driving isn't hard for mum but when Dad was alive he didn't feel comfortable her going off on her own. She used the sat nav on her phone and found the 'lady' so useful that she has named her Jessie after her Grandma!

Oh good that she has Jessie :). When my great-aunt and great-uncle got that old they would "drive together": One would drive and the other one would look to see if the road was clear and warn the driver. We all thought that was a crazy arrangement, but it worked for them. They did drive separately once in a while, but their driving together with those commands given to the driver was too funny.

How lovely that she is able to maintain her independence. I hope it is the first of many visits.

It's so nice to see your Mum visiting with you. Ben and she are so sweet with him standing so tall next to her. It's always fun playing card games with one's Nanna. We had a lot of fun nights like that with my folks. I love the pic of her waving good-bye in the little red car xoxo
