We hang out in this lovely place for most of our visits and consequently I’m getting to know certain staff members by name ๐ Yesterday we didn’t go on a walk as I’m dealing with chronic health flare up of swollen glands and a sore throat, this always happens when I’m not working within balanced parameters. Instead we ‘car camped’ and Dave worked on the computer and I wove in the ends on my ‘Land Girl’ inspired vest whilst watching a lovely programme called ‘Forever Green’ from the late eighties on YouTube. I’ve noticed the owner of this channel won’t allow you to watch directly from here but hopefully if you click the YouTube link you will get a gist of what the programme is about.
To my dear friend Ros, who often pops by to read ( we’ve been friends since we were 16) I always think that Pauline Collins reminds me of your lovely mum, who supported me during some very wobbly teenage years ๐
One advantage of being near the centre is access to free WiFi ๐
Today is our last morning of the week and our last visit before the half term break which begins on Monday. I’m really pleased that despite everything (and there are many challenges on all sorts of levels) we’ve made it to the end of the first half term. I reckon we all deserve that mid term- break ๐
