I don't know Kate Davies, but this "tool" looks very nifty.
She’s a very talented knitwear designer, I have her book entitled ‘ handy woman’ and it is a series of essays around her growing up in a make do and mend family through how designing and knitting assisted in her recovery from a stroke at 36 years.
I knew that Kate Davies had had something happen to her which had meant that she had to take stock and change her life, but I had no idea it was a stroke and at such a young age. I love her knitwear designs.
I see, 36! That is hard to believe, but our pediatrician had a heart attack at about that age, so you never know.
This is fun to see! I've never heard Kate speak before. She's such an inspiration . . and WOW . . . that sweater!!! It must be the Balmaha sweater, but yet it looks different to me .. the color is even richer than on the website. Her yarn is gorgeous. She has such a rich and fun sense of style.
