Still Here

We have kept up to date with homeschooling despite my being unwell these past weeks, hence my absence here.  I have however found an app for my phone that will allow me to post including pictures, so here's hoping it actually works!

Benedict and Pip have been working on a shared project based upon our local area.  Their task last week was to take lots of pictures during a field trip and then format a power point presentation encouraging folk to visit the area for their holidays.  They went one step further and with Dave's help worked on an animation of our visit earlier in the week :-)

Pip having fun digging in the sand on our field trip, our first beach visit of the year.

And here is our animation of our trip to the seaside

We have also been busy prepping the garden for the upcoming season and have seedlings growing in a mini greenhouse in the hallway :-). The courgettes have taken off so they are placed outside during the day and brought in at night.  Once the ground warms up thoroughly and the chance of frost has dissipated they will be planted out into a more permanent position alongside all the other veggies.

San,

I love comparing the little details of our lives. You're heading towards spring and the growing season while we're looking forward to the glorious colours of autumn. And I'm guessing your courgettes are our zucchinis!

Pip's smile is infectious!

I'm keeping you in my prayers. This reminds me: I take you with me, in spirit, to Mass just in case you aren't well enough to get there yourself. I ask for special graces for you at the conseceration and after communion. I'm sure God listens to my prayers!

Bless you for taking me with you in your heart, reading that has made my day :-). Yes our courgettes are your zucchinis! I haven't forgotten and I will be writing and sending via snail mail soon ❤️

Thank you for your prayers they are much appreciated. I hope you are managing to do something special for you whilst Chanda is in Paris. I guess the house must seem quiet without her and Morgana but at least Korrina is nearby. Take good care my friend ❤️

Praying that your health will improve soon. The local area project sounds great and I love the animation! Your veggie growing reminds me that I really must get up to the allotment soon or it'll be summer before I know it!
